The students of Mechatronics come from all around the world so the course is designed to first integrate the knowledge of students coming from various fields. These subjects are based on students’ entry qualifications.
In the second and third semester relatively complex courses are offered providing students with broad knowledge in mechanical as well as electrical engineering. In the fourth semester students write their Master thesis based on their research. The research is done under the supervision of teaching staff at the University of Siegen, however, the research can be done at the University or in industry. This provides excellent opportunities for the future professional career.
A complete outline of the course can be found here Modulhandbuch
